Today I am grateful for “Big Ditch Mitch,” who led us to do the right thing.
The Olathe man fighting his HOA regarding a third car parked in his driveway. He asks what would Jesus do? I bet Jesus would sell the Toyota V-6 Highlander, buy a pair of winter sandals and give the rest to the poor.
I also have degenerative disc disease in my neck, but I work. My husband has two bulging discs in his back but he chooses to work. We all have something wrong with us; not everyone can be on disability and Medicaid.
I truly hope that the Mayor is not just blowing smoke, but I am a bit afraid when major-league teams see how little support the Wranglers got the last few years they were here, they will not bring a farm team here.
President Trump said, “We ask god for his wisdom and strength.” I’d ask God for no hurricane.
Thirty-three percent of the nation’s gasoline supply has been affected by the hurricane in Texas. Yet 100 percent of the filling stations will take advantage of it by hiking their prices. Even the ones that don’t get their fuel from those sources.
It’s all talk in this country. No action.
Wichita has finally made it. It has become a metropolitan city. The rats have moved in.
Does anyone really miss Bill O’Reilly?
After 44 years a homeowner in southeast Wichita, I’ve learned that nobody cares whether something is legal or illegal. They just do whatever they want.
Too bad, I was hoping to see Sheriff Joe treated the same way as he treated his prisoners — confined outdoors in 100-degree heat and dressed in pink prison garb.
When I win the lottery, I’m buying houses in the snobbiest HOA neighborhoods and giving them to Cousin Eddie-type folks with one stipulation: They must keep an engine hanging in a rusting A-frame in the front yard at all times.
Three areas where rational thinking stops: religion, politics and romance.
