Wouldn’t it be easier for new residents to get their cars inspected and new tags and driver’s licenses at the same time? Put these offices in one building with a large parking lot, like a closed Dillons store. Maybe they could even register to vote. What a concept.

Can someone please tell me what President Obama has done that is as bad as the unjustified war in Iraq and the destroyed economy from 2000 to 2008?

Obama is slightly correct about going around the world and apologizing for the United States. The next president is going to have to spend a number of years going around the world and apologizing – for Obama.

Term limits should be applied to all branches of government without exceptions.

WSU basketball – a real class act. This includes the women.

As a KU fan, I’d like to thank the WSU fans for showing class by not rushing the floor when you gave us a walloping.

WSU fans: Get in your digs while you can. You can really start mouthing off when WSU wins its first national championship.

The Koch brothers should put up the money to start a respectable football program at WSU. I bet they have clout to get WSU into the Big 12. And with a decent stadium, Wichita could host a college bowl game named the Koch Bowl.

Good for the Koch family. I am glad they have lots of success and lots of money. Through this they keep many people in business, and that makes jobs for many more people. It is not my business nor your business what they do with their money. They earned it.

All of the complaining about the Koch brothers brings to mind a wonderful line from “The Music Man”: “Miser Madison? As in Madison Public Library? Madison School, Madison Gymnasium, Madison Public Park? That Miser Madison?”

I have a concealed-carry license. I paid $100 for the course, $60 for practice rounds, $40 to the Sheriff’s Office for fingerprinting and $132 for the state background check. I want my $332 back. All who have the permit should get their money back.

Real men don’t need to carry guns. They face danger with their guts and their wits.

We have the best security system available on my block – a nosy neighbor, recently retired.

The geese do not have flying feathers right now. The male and female travel together searching for nesting areas, and soon goslings will be crossing the street with the parent geese. Please slow down on the streets.
