White supremacists want to take their country back. I guess I didn’t realize it was their country.


Our country is going backward because of the very poor choices the president has made for staff and cabinet appointments, causing missteps and mistakes, resulting in putting out fires instead of taking care of the nation’s business.


An Opinion Line contributor blamed President Trump for only interested in being elected president. If so, now that he president, why does he still out perform all his associates? It may just be that he truly is dedicated to making America great again.


Donald Trump wants to be removed from office and has already made a deal with Vice President Pence to be pardoned from everything to do with the Russia investigation. POTUS was just on his bucket list.


I’m so tired of modern architecture with its chrome, glass, raw concrete and sterile coldness. We must fight to preserve our beautiful old schools and other public buildings as we will never again build anything comparable to them.


Robert E. Lee and other confederate leaders should be in our history books, but not have statues and monuments to them. They fought against the United States of America. They are in the same category as Benedict Arnold.


The Confederate monuments should come down not because those people were slave holders but because they were traitors who waged war against the United States.


Isn’t it great that we now have a great view of a parking garage for the new apartments along McLean, rather than a view of the river or city. Thanks again, greedy developers.


Regarding Charlottesville, neither side was in the right. Trump said what needed to be said and said it with all the facts. It’s time for the media and the elites on both sides of the aisle to shut up and drop it. Enough already.


If the city really wants to improve something, fix Douglas Avenue in front of Century II from Waco to Main. The bricks have settled between the concrete strips, making it one of the roughest streets in the downtown area.


The Teletubbies children’s show is weird and just stupid. They keep trying to change it and it is getting even worse.
