Soundproofing the auditoriums and adding a dock will be considerably less expensive than replacing Century II. The basement is good for building sets, etc. The Exposition Hall and new arena are enough.


There are too many people with medical conditions driving cars. Too many times, people with medical conditions are losing control of their cars, killing and injuring people. Topeka needs to pass a law to stop these dangerous people from driving.


Did not know there was such a big need for injury lawyers in Wichita until I watched the noon news with 30-percent news and 70-percent lawyer commercials.


I would defy the mayor and all City Council members to drive on North Woodlawn between Central and 13th and tell Wichitans that they received the best quality for their hard-earned tax money.


Men and women should understand that the Creator gave us rules to protect everyone’s life. No one is to kill the other or lie about the other, or steal the other’s property, or desire the wife of another.


The first six months of the Trump presidency have made it painfully clear that he was only interested in being elected president and not in serving the nation as president.


Think about it, if the ambulance-chasing lawyers that advertise incessantly on TV are so good, why do they have to advertise? Someone that can “get me everything I deserve” should have people beating down their door by word of mouth.


A family or kids can spend all day at the swimming pool, but a splash park maybe an hour or two at the most.


Why do real-estate companies run ads and thank their agents? Shouldn’t they be thanking the buyers and sellers instead?


Be a leaker, avoid prosecution, sign a tell-all book deal worth millions? Only in progressive America.


Thank goodness the Kansas Stars won the NBC tournament or all that press idolatry for a bunch of major-league has-beens — rather than our emerging local talent — would have been wasted.
