Too bad Fidel Castro died. With a President Trump, we could exchange leaders every year with Cuba; you take our guy for a year, we’ll take yours – and who will ever notice the difference?


We had 30 recently retired major-league players playing in the NBC tournament the last two years. Why weren’t the stands more full? Where were the little leaguers and their parents?


As our country in the midst of a horrible opioid epidemic, we still demonize Cannabis. It relieves pain, stress, PTSD and so much more. A safe, proven reliable medicine.


It is going to take Democrats more than recycling a worn-out message on shiny new paper to attract the folks in flyover country.


The most candid and perfect quotation that Donald Trump ever made for the benefit of children and others: “If you use alcohol or narcotics, you will not be able to compete.”


I’m amazed how dealerships push extended warranties for vehicles and at a high cost, telling people they can’t be without it. I know three people that bought the coverage and in all three cases zero dollars were covered.


Isn’t it about time President Trump gets the yearly Presidential checkup at Walter Reed?


I always get a laugh when I see or hear about a liberal getting selected to an Intelligence Committee.


So sad to see President Trump wasting time with those “them against us” rallies. It does nothing but create division and ill-will among citizens. A true leader would be bringing us together and concentrating on the serious international issues we face.


Fifty years ago, the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland caught fire. In July, I actually enjoyed a fine dinner along the river while watching rowers and kayakers traveling up and down the river. Where does that happen in Wichita?


City leaders should consider tearing Century II down but replace it with a taller structure. They could use the foundation that’s there and have a new building that’s convention friendly and Wichita would still have a Century II.
