An old saying: Be careful arguing with an idiot, as the people watching may not be able to tell the difference.

I don’t really mind that getting food stamps is time consuming and arduous. Receiving a hand out of taxpayer money should come with a bunch of hoops to jump through.

So the city can’t fund one year of maintenace at McAdams pool but has no problem approving the equivalent of 40 years of pool maintenance for a new pool?

Wichita Festivals, I’m eagerly awaiting the financial numbers you cost the taxpayers with the failed Vortex event. River Fest is enough of a mess. Stay in your lane.

Mayor, do nothing on Century II. That would be my answer. Send me the $294,000, please.

If you voted for Bush, Brownback and Trump, you should permanently recuse yourself from ever voting again.

Polls show that people don’t believe what comes out of the White House by a 2-to-1 margin. Shouldn’t the North Korea statements fall into that same category? Fear easily manipulates people into following crazy statements.

President Obama was a thoughtful, decent man who attempted over and over to get along, with no screwups. President Trump is a baby and can’t figure out how to run his companies, let alone our country.

Do I have this right? After one season, Ron Baker averaged 4.2 points then averages about $4.45 million per year in his new contract? Why wasn’t I born an NBA player?

I nominate Commissoner Ranzau as the unhappiest person in Sedgwick County.

Too bad we don’t have the strong, influential President Obama in office. He would end the North Korean nuclear crisis by telling Kim Jong Un to “cut it out” — just like he told Putin to end the Russian election hacking problem.

Please don’t ever reuse the people who patched Woodlawn between Central and 13th. It could possibly be no better than it was. What a waste of time and labor. Any road crew foreman would be ashamed of such a bad job.
