Now the whole country knows why coach Bill Self won’t play in Charles Koch Arena.
Well, I guess the boys from “Hillside High” showed KU a thing or two. KU does not own basketball in Kansas.
Bill Self – great recruiter, average coach. Gregg Marshall – good recruiter, the best coach in the country behind Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski.
He got no praise, nor did he ask for any, but the outcome of Sunday’s game would have been far different without the presence of Fred VanVleet. A classic game by two classy teams. Too bad someone had to lose.
WSU fans: When you have three national championships and 11 straight conference titles, let us know.
The best part of Sunday’s game between KU and WSU was the Shockers’ win. The next best part was hearing Sam Brownback roundly booed.
I thought it was disrespectful to boo Brownback at the KU-WSU basketball game. When he is not functioning as the governor, he should be treated like any other person and should have been applauded for supporting Kansas basketball teams.
I wonder how many taxpayer dollars were spent for Brownback to attend the basketball game of the schools he underfunded.
Sports isn’t news and does not belong on the front page, and certainly not a full page.
Congratulations to Travis Heying and others for their recent fantastic pictures of basketball players from Kansas’ universities. They capture the action perfectly, and the facial expressions are priceless. Thanks for some wonderful keepsakes of an exciting season.
The American people do not trust Obama to make a deal with the Iranians that will be beneficial to the American people.
Sam Williams has started attack ads against Jeff Longwell for Wichita mayor. The real tragedy is: Why do voters believe these attack ads?
If Jason Watkins is a lobbyist for Sedgwick County and the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce and is also Sam Williams’ paid campaign manager, then how is this not a conflict of interest? Or maybe transparency only goes so far.
Longwell, in his bid for mayor, says to check his votes. I bet most were with the present mayor, which means he is part of the problem.
Is it too soon to be calling the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport the Ikeport?
