When it comes to parking on campus, WSU officials have the same tunnel-vision delusion as the City Council and the County Commission have about parking downtown: “There’s plenty of parking.”
All we have to do is destroy everything great about WSU’s campus. Then we’ll really have something.
For once let us get our priorities in order. The boys ranch is vacant. The elephants need room with an additional barn. Perfect match. No expensive feasibility study necessary. Next.
KU received $253 million in donations and the boys ranch gets no takers? Am I missing something?
Sam Brownback says the sun is shining in Kansas and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. I’m shocked he hasn’t blamed Obama for the sun.
Columnist Leonard Pitts should author a book containing all of his repetitious weekly columns. Almost everything he writes brings race into it. There are good and bad people of every color. Color doesn’t make us either way. What is in our heart does.
Pitts conveniently left out killing the unborn, legalizing same-sex marriage, no praying in schools and bribing unwed girls to get pregnant with welfare payments (all things he supports) in his “only here, only us” tirade about our gun laws being what is wrong with this country (Sept. 1 Opinion).
Pitts showed how out of touch he really is. There are child soldiers all over the world, not “only here, only us.”
What kind of military commander admits he has no strategy developed to fight the enemy, or says what tactics will or won’t be used in the fight? It’s the kind of commander who achieved his position by mistake.
Sanctions make us feel good. We’re really sticking it to ’em. How successful have they been? In South Africa, of course, sanctions worked, but how long did it take? Ten years? Fifteen years? Obama’s red line also made us feel good when he laid it down on Bashar Assad.
Obama and Biden said it wrong. We are not a united country. Republicans have ruined us with their hate, divisiveness and desperation to remove Obama from office. They encourage discontent and rub their hands with evil glee, and continue to obstruct progress.
Senate Democrats kicked Chad Taylor to the curb because of his low polling numbers and are hopeful a Greg Orman win means he would caucus with Senate Democrats. Just more dirty tricks that Harry Reid denies, but then again Reid has zero credibility.
The Democrats should call themselves the Everything Is Free, Democratic Socialist Party.
If you don’t want nude photos of yourself hacked, a la Jennifer Lawrence, I suggest not taking pictures of yourself in the nude.
