The Kochs and Republicans are putting $300-$400 million into the next elections to ensure their values on health care, tax cuts for the wealthy, immigration, guns, Medicaid. I wonder if we have lost our integrity and Christian values, yet claiming to be Christian? What are we?


What is the difference between requiring everyone to have car insurance, but not health care?


If The Eagle would front-page publish — in 14-point bold — a legal and illegal fireworks list, it might possibly help all the peace lovers. Also, a meaningful complaint phone number.


Thank goodness the Sydney Opera House is in Australia, the Tower of London in England and the Taj Mahal in India. If any of these beautiful structures were in Wichita, they would be replaced by nondescript apartments or artificial turf.


There’s nothing wrong with a witch hunt when there’s so much evidence of an actual witch roaming about.


I do not want your “Meancare,” President Trump.


Perhaps the reason the Trump administration hasn’t taken any action to prevent a repeat of the Russian hacking into the next election is that Trump secretly appreciated the help and, consequently, doesn’t want it removed.


There is something wrong when the legislature can impose taxes on hard-working Kansans to give themselves and government workers big pay raises.


If Trump has any chance to “Make America Great Again” he will have to part ways with the likes of Mitch McConnell and all other politicians who have been bought and paid for by uber wealthy and the corporations.


Who is paying Kris Kobach’s $1,000 fine? The State of Kansas? Or Kobach, heaven forbid? Is it a tax-deductible business expense? Somehow, ... [he] will make money on the ruling.


It’s a shame that so many of these actors know how to play a character but don’t have any.


The articles written to The Eagle about speeding have one thing in common. They start with “having driven in the Wichita area for 50 or 60 years,” automatically placing them in the octogenarian category or higher.
