Conservatives finally admitted to Russian influence on an election after claims that there was none. Yet they still aren’t worried about the integrity of the election process. I guess when Trump’s emails get hacked they’ll change their tune.

Bikes demanding use of dedicated walking paths in city parks will end up like the countless number of tennis courts in parks that are seldom, some never, used by anyone.

The Trumpers and Trumpets say, I like Trump because he tells it like it is. Right, he didn’t use any of the disparaging terms he usually uses in reference to Muslims on his trip to the Middle East. Why? Because that rhetoric is only reserved for you saps over here.

It seems to be acceptable by Democrats to keep hosing the American public for more tax dollars.

Hey schoolchildren: Get an education and learn all you can so you don’t some day end up being laughed at in Opinion Line for your uninformed comments.

If you think $10 is too much for everything that goes on for the entirety of Riverfest then I suspect you are still watching TV on a black and white set with aluminum foil antennas.

Any industry that releases pollutants into a waterway rendering it toxic to humans would be shut down and heavily fined by the EPA. That is unless the industry happens to be farmers. My sympathy goes out to the residents of Marion and the would-be users of Marion Lake.

I am all about ousting every lawmaker who overrode Governor Brownback’s veto of the tax increase. Oust them now.

It’s disheartening to read the extreme viewpoints of writers on either end of the political spectrum, vilifying the other “side” for their excesses while turning a blind eye to the excesses of their own “side.”

Millennials with their noses glued to their cell phones and who have to rely on zombie and apocalyptic movies or video games to add any excitement to their lives really don’t have much of a life at all.
