Opinion Line (March 21)

Coming next year will be insulting ads entreating women to vote for a woman solely based on gender, as if women don’t or can’t understand the issues.

Hurry up, 2016’s new president. We need him badly. Tom Cotton is a tested, worthy man.

A study of emissions of your barbecue grills has been started by the EPA. A better study might be: If all those working for the agency would just stop breathing, would we have an even greater reduction of carbon dioxide emissions?

Those who whine against government support for the arts don’t remember that governments have supported the arts since the time of Ancient Egypt. WPA art was a significant program in the depths of the Depression, when nobody had money.

Wish I had my own NCAA bracket with the presidential seal, like Obama. Doesn’t this guy have anything better to do? But wait – with Obama engaging in this activity, perhaps he won’t have time to mess with those of us who are decent, respectable citizens of the United States.

I hope the NCAA doesn’t find out I’m watching the basketball tournament in my basement, as I don’t have its permission. The NCAA has gotten too powerful.

How do these college basketball players afford the tattoos? Some of them have $10,000 sleeves on their arms. Those scholarships must pay pretty well.
