Oddly, our mayor doesn’t have a budget for the basic upkeep of Pawnee Prairie Park, but can locate money to build bike bridges and plan for a motocross course there.
This president hasn’t a clue. The U.S. is already committed to actions that limit climate change. By signing the Paris accords, the rest of the world will be committed as well. Wise businessmen understand this, Trump does not.
One Opinion Line contributor wants to rewrite history by blaming President Trump for dividing the country. The fact is the deep divisions began years ago during the Obama administration, and he was widely known as the divider-in-chief.
President Trump has given us an EPA administrator who thinks CO2 is not a greenhouse gas. However, that’s excusable, since it has only been known for about 125 years.
Trump could raise Mother Teresa from the dead, and CNN and the progressives would crucify him in the media.
Mrs. Trump in a jacket that cost $51,000. That is more than twice my yearly take-home income. They are completely out of touch with our realities. I dare her to put on scrubs from Walmart and do my job for one week for my pay.
Obviously, Davis Merritt can’t distinguish between courageous and identified whistle blowers who expose wrongdoing and anonymous, cowardly leakers who endanger our national security while seeking only to defame others for political purposes.
It is so gratifying when your state legislators live up to your lowest expectations of them in not getting the job done on time. It does make me glad I am not depending on them to protect my country in time of war.
Why limit the information patients receive about a doctor to abortions? Shouldn’t anyone who is planning an invasive procedure be given the information the legislators want abortion patients to receive?
Why does research repeatedly show that people with college degrees tend to vote democratic? Does education have anything to do with the ability to make good decisions based on facts? If not, why does nearly everyone seem to think that getting a degree is a good thing?
Why do we only rest in peace? Why don’t we live in peace?
