On the National Day of Prayer at my public school we had a prayer by the flagpole event and a Fellowship of Christian Athletes breakfast. But, according to the propaganda of the Way-Too-Far-Right, none of it must have involved God.


Why won’t Trump release his tax returns, or release the White House visitor log? What is he hiding?


It seems to me the Democrats are mixed up on who was elected president - maybe someone should tell them. Things might be better for all if they would make just a little effort to work with the Republicans.


I’m an excellent reader, and I guarantee that I can read the Second Amendment of the Constitution, as it can only be read by a reasonable person.


How dare our arrogant council presume to sell Century II out from under us? We got forced to pay for it with much ballyhoo along with a tripodal so poorly constructed it had to be rebuilt later for safety reasons. Without 50 percent voter turnout and two-thirds concurrence from citizens, this is no less than legalized theft like the $2 million for the large portion of coliseum sale by the county.


If I were Mr. Comey, I would thank my lucky stars to be out of the Washington mess made by President Trump.


I would gladly invite the mayor and/or the chief of police to ride with me to work someday and show you what a lot of people think of your speed limits.


There was never any “forced prayer” in public schools.


Oh great, just what Wichita needs to go along with more guns, is more booze at outdoor activities. Mortuaries, be prepared for more business. Sad.


Someone needs to tell Trump he’s not on The Apprentice anymore. He does not need to fire a person a week.


To blame the loss of tax revenue on the small business tax cuts and ignore the drop in agricultural and oil prices is either ignorance or party bias. All agricultural and oil-producing states have suffered. We would have been worse off without the cuts.


When you don’t use your signals properly, you are advertising to everyone that you don’t know where you are going.
