Opinion Line Extra (March 18)

If people want to grill every politician who has used personal e-mail for government business, they will have a long list. They should start with most of the government officials in Kansas.

Can anyone explain why Kansas Democrats demand transparency in government at the state level, but not so much at the federal level?

Well, the Republicans are really demonstrating that they, and only they, know how to run the government. I hope they keep up the good work. It will only ensure a Democrat gets elected president again.

Hooray for Sen. Tom Cotton. The critical role of Congress in the adoption of international agreements was clearly laid out by our Founding Fathers in our Constitution. While Iranian leaders may not understand that, the president should.

The fox will always be in the henhouse if Hillary Clinton is elected president. What a disaster for the United States. A corrupt person placing another corrupt person.

I believed every word Hillary said about her e-mails. I also believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.

I haven’t seen nor heard of Sen. Pat Roberts being in Kansas lately. Oh, wait – he’s not campaigning now, so of course he’s not here.

I am a registered Republican, whose party is on a fast track to “somewhere,” and I don’t think I want to “go there.”

Is it not strange for a person to claim he is “pro-gun” and “pro-Second Amendment”? Are there not also more than 25 other amendments? Are they any less worthy of support?

Enough with the government intrusion into citizens’ lives. If a bill narrows or curbs or infringes in any way an individual’s freedom of speech, property or physical self, then just say “no.” We have enough laws already that outlaw acts of lying, cheating, killing, theft, etc.

If you think it’s only one fraternity at OU or only one university in the country, you’re part of the problem. If you think it’s only Ferguson, Mo., you’re part of the problem. And, as Eldridge Cleaver said, if you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.

Practicing media diversity, I watch MSNBC daily. It’s the longest minute of the day.

With cars now smarter than many of the people who drive them, how long will it be before someone involved in an accident tries to blame it on the car and not himself?

The war on pot was lost decades ago. Prohibition on alcohol didn’t work either.

Let’s get this straight: Stupid, lazy people who smoke pot would be stupid and lazy even if they didn’t smoke pot.

In advertising, there is no truth. There is only effect.
