Do not make buying strong beer and liquor convenient. You know it will make it easier for minors. Keep it with the small businesses.

Proposed tourism pitch: “Come to Wichita, Kan., where anyone can carry a concealed weapon without a permit. Enjoy a vacation where you can really enjoy the old Western spirit.”

I am 67 years old and live in a less-than-desirable neighborhood, but I do not have to carry a gun in order to feel safe when I leave my home.

Curious to know what teachers think is good pay? All the teachers I know look like they’re living pretty well and don’t even have to work all year.

It looks like the Legislature has found a cure for the school funding problem: Make it easier to prosecute teachers and then put them all in jail and the state won’t have to pay their salaries.

Certain business owners, several hundred thousand of them, and owners of farmland receive enormous tax breaks or substantial tax breaks. And I was brought up that the Declaration of Independence states that all men are created equal. Ha.

A reader recently sarcastically commented, “Heck, do away with needing a license to drive.” Wichita already has that. It is called being an illegal alien – er, sorry – “undocumented guest worker.” No license, no insurance, no problem.

The government wants to take over the Internet. Yet the Obamacare website is still not complete and working as it should. I wonder how this is all going to work out. Probably not well.

I don’t understand why we don’t use nuclear weapons on ISIS. Tell them what cities will be destroyed, allow the women and children to leave, and drop low-intensity bombs. Instead, we let this drag on all the while giving them publicity on everything they do.

Republicans’ criticism of candidate Barack Obama’s lack of foreign policy experience will haunt them. Not a single GOP contender so far has had foreign policy experience. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has a leg up on all of them.

People have become so dumb. Someone is trying to sell a bag of air from a Kanye West show. That’s right – someone is so dumb they are actually admitting they were at a Kanye West show.

Did BTK, Dennis Rader, ever tell what exactly it was that inspired him to commit his first murders?

It sickens me to see stories about BTK in the newspaper or on TV. He is nothing but scum on the bottom of the sewer. Why do people keep giving him attention? Apparently your family wasn’t affected by him.

BTK should not have the word “legacy” attached anywhere to his name. He doesn’t deserve it.

Why is Dennis Rader still alive?
