Eric Holder’s Justice Department says there is no evidence that Michael Brown’s hands were up when he was shot by Officer Darren Wilson. But “Hands up, don’t shoot” is the lie that will never die.
Ferguson, Mo., needs to hire a black police chief and all black officers, then see if things get better or worse.
It is so nice of Hillary Clinton to turn over her e-mails from the time that she served as secretary of state, now that she has had plenty of time to delete all controversial e-mails. She obviously believes that the American public is extremely stupid.
Edward Snowden is an American hero and patriot who to this day sacrifices for the great American ideals of an open society with unparalleled personal freedoms and expectations of privacy. Now is the time for President Obama to demonstrate his own belief in these ideals by welcoming Snowden home.

The addition of 320 jobs at Rubbermaid is about half of the number of layoffs at Learjet. That’s a negative 2-1 ratio, which means that we’re going backward.
Rubbermaid is going to add 320 jobs, but these will not produce the same income as those hundreds of Boeing jobs lost two years ago. Rubbermaid’s jobs are great, but we need three times that many at least to cover the huge deficit of the Boeing loss.
Why don’t those criticizing Gov. Sam Brownback for the estimated $648 million shortfall in next year’s budget crack their wallets open, dig deep and send in the money to cover it? Because they want to use your money.
In a recent interview, Brownback attributed his re-election at least in part to divine intervention. Maybe he’s right, because God only knows how he got re-elected.

I see no reason to pay someone for a conceal-carry course if you already know how to manage firearms. All military veterans should be exempt.
