I believe in the Second Amendment, too. Everybody has a right to a musket.
Why is it the people who say we don’t need a license to carry a concealed firearm are the same people who say it’s no big deal to show a driver’s license to vote?
Does anyone else see the irony in someone arguing for no-permit concealed-carry in Kansas because it costs too much to get a license, background check and take a class? Apparently that argument doesn’t work for needing an ID to vote, but it works for gun ownership.

Sign idea for the state border: “Entering Kansas – Welcome to the Dark Ages.”
Westar Energy is doing more to kill Kansas business and destroy poorer families than all the folks in Topeka. Drive southwest of Wichita and you will see new power lines. Follow them and you will be in Oklahoma. My bill was $90. Now it’s $118. Soon it will be $126.
If Westar gets another rate hike, I will use less electricity. We should all do that.

The senior class “prank” at North High School was the most wonderful story (March 3 Eagle). Emily Jones is an inspiration, coming up with this positive way to honor her principal and encouraging her fellow students to do the same. I hope her actions inspire more students to spread goodwill.
