Strictly speaking, government is not a business, does not run like a business, and does not require businessmen to run it. I’m not sure it even needs men. I voted for Jennifer Winn for mayor.
I got mailings No. 9 and 10 from Sam Williams four days before the primary – a lot of words that said nothing. Somehow that doesn’t seem like a wise use of funds.
How is it that rich people buy elections? Recent history is replete with examples of rich people running for office, spending millions of their own dollars, then crashing at the polls.
President Obama’s proposed 10-year contract with Iran: “If you want your nukes, you can have your nukes.”

If Bill Warren’s insurance company raises his rates for abiding by the law, I would say it is time to get a new insurance provider.
Wow. It gets a little cold, there’s a light dusting of snow, and everything shuts down. I’ve got to write home to Mom about this.
