In the undocumented-alien population, Democrats see millions of new voters who are reliable supporters of their big-government agenda. It is no wonder President Obama refuses to enforce our immigration laws. While he pledged to support the Constitution and our laws, he has no intention of doing so.

It’s a good thing Obama doesn’t face the same “truth or consequences” that Brian Williams does, lest the president lose his job every day for telling falsehoods.

Things that are not exactly American: undisclosed campaign loans, business tax exemptions and discrimination. These are reasons not to come to Kansas, and neither will Sean Penn.

Gov. Sam Brownback’s recent move with the school budget was definitely a cut. The increase in funding was court-ordered to bring it back to where it should have been in the first place. It’s like getting your crutches back and then having them chopped off at the knee.

Be prepared for a surfeit of plumbers, electricians, mechanics and other trades, as our Legislature has the grand notion that our schools should become technical schools. After all, who needs doctors, educators and especially lawyers?

If Kansas gives homosexuals more protection than the rest of us get, doesn’t that violate the 14th Amendment wording that states shall give all citizens equal protection under the law?

Why are conservatives trying to repeal Common Core? Maybe it’s the word “common.” They already repealed common sense.

I wonder how many of Ted Bundy’s 36 murder victims would have wished to have a firearm. If the first victim had had one, Bundy’s count would have been zero. The gun banners want you to be a victim.

The first job of the new Wichita mayor and three new City Council members should be to delete all city positions that begin with “assistant.”

Hey, K-State fans – it’s all about safety for the players, coaches and the fans. KU only storms the court at a championship win. Students are taught good sportsmanship and class at KU. Grow up.

Why didn’t K-State play all season like it did against KU?
