Opinion Line Extra (Feb. 25)

The comparison of Muslims to ISIS is the same comparison of Christianity to the KKK. One has nothing to do with the other.

Nowhere in the rules does it say a president must have a college education. Likewise, the education Obama got hasn’t helped anyone much.

Barack Obama has more than one college degree. He has proved he is not fit to be the leader of the free world time after time.

Don’t you just love it when a draft dodger questions the patriotism of the president?

You can’t stimulate the economy by giving money to the poor to buy food. First that money has to come out of the economy. There’s no perpetual motion economic machine. That is just redistribution and nothing more.

Sam Brownback did not attend the governors meeting with President Obama in Washington, D.C., because he would have been laughed out of the room by the other governors. Brownback thinks we are as stupid as he is if he believes we do not know that.

Maybe Brownback skipped the governors meeting because he is embarrassed by the disastrous results his economic policies are having on the state and he is unable to face the penetrating questions he is getting.

Just what we all need: more people carrying guns, drinking more alcohol, smoking more dope. Kansas, “the land of more.”

Just like social media, The Eagle’s Opinion page has become the go-to place for haters, liars and generally ignorant people to spew their uneducated views. Differing opinions are fine, but can’t it be done in a mature, adult manner? Currently, the majority of comments printed are beyond infantile. Disappointing.

That was a great article on BTK’s daughter Sunday. Opening up like she did surely helped her to cope with her situation. Now, Wichita Eagle, will you stop giving that man the publicity he craves? I can’t see that anything more he can say would be of any use to anyone.

KSU basketball has now beaten KU three times in the last five years. Is it really necessary to rush the court every time? It’s time to expect to win, not be shocked when we do.

I was glad to see that K-State beat KU. Then in the morning paper I saw a picture of an “I Hate You” sign and No. 41 grabbing his crotch. Can’t they have a little more class than that?

Guys, time to grow up. Be a man, be a gentleman, take responsibility, and be accountable for your own actions. In spite of the leftist feminist drivel we’re constantly bombarded with, women want a man, not a teenager in men’s clothing. Put the game controller down and man up.
