Kansas not only state trying to prevent LGBT protections

AP

Three days after Gov. Sam Brownback issued an executive order revoking protections against discrimination for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender state employees, Arkansas’ legislature approved a bill that blocks cities and counties from prohibiting discrimination against LGBT people. Huppke lampooned the Arkansas bill (and Kansas), calling it “a deft maneuver to cut off any attempts at preventing discrimination, lest Arkansans find themselves in a Kansas-like situation of having to undo something most people would be surprised to learn hasn’t been done already.” – Phillip Brownlee
