Brian Williams’ embellishments have done far less damage than the lies we were told to get us into the war against Iraq.
Get over George Bush. He didn’t lie about his service. Brian Williams lied to make himself look more important. George Bush didn’t.
Bush made a report to the American people and the world that Saddam Hussein and Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. That was not true, yet he kept his job. Which story was more harmful? Brian Williams’ or Bush’s?
One comment referred to President Obama as “golfer in chief.” President Bush was frequently in Texas. What one forgets is that the job of president of the United States is a high-stress position requiring time away from the White House.
We cannot just destroy the Islamic State and they know it. Outsmarting them at their own game will take the best military experts, and then keeping quiet about the strategy.
Obama should drop his plans to use his Xbox strategy and start listening to his generals.
It is very obvious that even after six years Obama still doesn’t know what it is to be president of the United States or how to properly act. What an embarrassment he is to this country and its citizens.
Would the person who didn’t like Social Security and Medicare because they only “directly benefit the individual” please give up those benefits? I’ll be glad to take his or her share.
There is every reason for the citizens of Kansas to subsidize LLC and chapter S corporations.
It is now official. Kansas is the land of rich, white, straight Republicans – all of whom are packing heat. The return to the 19th century is complete.
I guess Kansans now know which politicians have been bought and paid for by the NRA. It has nothing to do with the Second Amendment.
A good education with an understanding of the facts is a liberal and liberating experience. The conservative drive to destroy public education is an attempt to ensure an ignorant, apathetic electorate that has no idea of how the conservative policies work and harm citizens economically. Welcome to Kansassippi.
I was reading about a College Goal Sunday event, where people can learn about financial aid for college. My first thought was: Can Sedgwick County Commissioners Richard Ranzau, Karl Peterjohn and Jim Howell deny our county the federal grant money involved?
It is great Howell could testify in Topeka as an individual and not a county commissioner, but how did he get time off with only six weeks on the job? The county benefits must be really special.
