Gov. Sam Brownback plans to end poverty in Kansas and those dependent on government help by driving them out of the state.


Why should I have to live with earthquakes caused by oil companies? Are they going to pay for damage to my home? States continue to let big business get away with things.


It is long past time for Kansas and Oklahoma to wake up to the earthquake reality. For decades, the big money has bought our politicians. Now they are reaping their monetary rewards, which has become our curse.


Our two political parties now lie as part of their standard operating procedure. Then when questioned about a distinctly incorrect comment they’ve made, they blame others for misquoting them.


I spent 35 years helping to evaluate people for different occupations and for their mental fitness. I wouldn’t recommend Donald Trump to take care of my dog. Yet many people want him in the White House?


I would love to put a Trump bumper sticker on my car. I do not trust Hillary Clinton supporters to not damage my car. It’s sad our country has come to that.


As a Korean War vet, I find it sickening that congressmen who are also veterans could support a candidate who belittled a Gold Star family. They are equally complicit of this disgrace.


I always thought the word “despicable” was used to describe something bad. When did it change?


Maybe the police nationwide need to trade in their video cameras and buy some of those guns that shoot nets.


Despite what Hollywood might tell you, only 1 percent of Edward Snowden’s leaked documents had to do with American surveillance programs. The rest endangered American lives. Rep. Mike Pompeo is right on this one.


We should pardon Edward Snowden to Gitmo.


Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues pushing Palestinians into a tinier corner of their own land and is rewarded with new records in U.S. military aid to Israel. As a result, dislike and distrust for the U.S. grows in the region.


I DVR’d “Scream Queens.” I’ll never do that again.
