All candidates should be part of the presidential debates. The “15 percent in polls” rule is another tool of the two-party system to keep the status quo.
They sure identified and caught that New York City bombing suspect in a hurry. At least there is one part of the FBI that is left to respect.

The multimillionaire NFL players who raise their fists or refuse to stand during the national anthem are not doing anything to change the U.S. for the better. They might try to focus their efforts on changing the reason that a problem exists in the first place.
According to a recent letter to the editor, the NFL protests are “taking away the rights of others’ reasonable expectations of freedom from your opinions.” Under that logic, no one should be allowed to speak. That isn’t freedom.
I forecast the demise of the NFL if it chooses to turn sporting events into a political forum for overpaid whiners.
The answer to the shortage of bus drivers is for parents to assume the responsibility of transportation for their children, either by doing it themselves or making other arrangements, such as carpooling or accompanying them walking or bicycling.
Attention, millennials and Generation Xers: Please refrain from saying “no problem” when we say “thank you” for services rendered. If there was a problem, we’d have told you so. Good manners still require “you’re welcome.”
