The Kansas Supreme Court shouldn’t be the one to decide how much money is spent on school funding. Elected officials should determine that.


There is something wrong if schools can’t educate our children on $4 billion.


Gov. Sam Brownback was able to put his disastrous policies into effect because of the support of Republican state senators and representatives. Electing Republican senators or representatives would mean more of the same.


Rep. Tim Huelskamp, we fired you, so please go home and quit mucking things up in D.C. How can we miss you if you won’t leave?


It is deplorable to be a pathological liar.

Career politicians are bringing this great country to its knees. Why would anyone vote for another Clinton to continue the idiocy?


Both Trump University and the Trump foundation have committed illegal acts, but Republicans seem to have no interest in investigating. That is a glaring double standard.

GOP logic: You must have a birth certificate to register and an ID to vote, but you don’t need a background check to buy an automatic weapon, and corporations can donate whatever amount they want anonymously to political campaigns.


This election is a coin toss. Heads you lose, tails you lose.


ISIS says it is fighting a religious war against the West and particularly the U.S. Meanwhile, President Obama’s spokesman says this is a “narrative” struggle. This dissonance is what Republicans mean by Democrats’ failure to name our enemy.


If our Kansas lawmakers don’t want workers to get overtime, they don’t deserve pay for special sessions, because they did not finish their work in a timely manner.


The new Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport is a magnificent first impression of our amazing city.
