Opinion Line (Sept. 14)

Given the incompetence shown by Gov. Sam Brownback, Kansas voters can give themselves a break by retaining the Kansas Supreme Court justices we have. Don’t let this governor use a wrecking ball on another branch of government.

Illegal immigrants serve in our military. Such insanity. In no other country on Earth would this be permitted.

We have the best military in the world and Donald Trump calls it a disaster. How disrespectful to our military and all who have served.

Do you really want someone as childish as Hillary Clinton sitting in the White House? She says that she shouldn’t be in trouble for her e-mails because somebody else did the same thing and got away with it.

If Clinton can’t come up with the 33,000 e-mails, what would be wrong about asking one of the cyber countries for help, say China?

I guess the only illegal immigrants who threaten American workers are Mexican, not the Europeans the Trump Modeling Agency brought in to work on tourist visas or the Polish workers hired to build his casino.

Vote Clinton into the White House, then sit back and wait for Watergate-level corruption to spoil everything. Clinton will win on her promise to evolve this country into a liberal paradise, but her downfall will be greed and lust for power.

“Hillary’s America” will be as effective at keeping Clinton from getting elected as “2016: Obama’s America” was in keeping him from getting re-elected. It’s just a Michael Moore film for Republicans.

It’s time to fix the system. Tie price increases for food, health care, prescription medications, utilities and gasoline to Social Security increases.

Why is it the weathermen always predict rain and thunderstorms? Why isn’t it just rain?

Well, it’s finally happened. Going to a rock concert is no longer my idea of a good time. There are too many people, and it’s just too darn loud. Did the music get louder, or am I just more cranky?
