‘Right person at the right time’ at McConnell

Congratulations to Col. Albert Miller on becoming the new commander of McConnell Air Force Base’s 22nd Air Refueling Wing. And a “thank you” to previous commander Col. Joel Jackson, who had led the wing since May 2013 and oversaw $266.8 million in construction to prepare for receiving 36 new KC-46A tankers. Jackson described Miller as “the right person at the right time for this job.” The Wichita community is proud of McConnell and the men and women serving there. – Phillip Brownlee
