Faith, Hope, Love for survivors of domestic violence

Congratulations to StepStone and Mennonite Housing on the completion of Bluffview Place, a transitional housing complex for survivors of domestic violence. The three buildings with 28 units are located near Harry and Hillside in the Hilltop neighborhood and provide safe and secure housing, along with support services, for survivors and their children. Gov. Sam Brownback also announced last week more than $1 million in federal grants to help victims of domestic violence, including grants to Harbor House and YWCA of Wichita. The Bluffview Place buildings are nicknamed Faith, Hope and Love. That’s what these survivors need. – Phillip Brownlee
