Snow is expected to fall across most of Kansas starting Friday night into Saturday morning.

The biggest concern for winter weather in south-central Kansas will be around Russell, Kansas, then east past Salina and south to around Great Bend. That area can see one to two inches of snow, and some areas could see up to four inches.

Wichita is just south of a swatch of land forecast to see between a trace to an inch of snow, meaning the snow could bypass Wichita altogether.

The snowfall is expected to start around 6 p.m. Friday and be gone by 6 a.m. Saturday.
