The snowfalls on Sunday and Thursday were the first of the winter. They left roads slick and led to lots of accidents and school closings around the Wichita area.

More snow is possible at the end of next week.

“The potential is there,” according to Bryan Baerg, a NWS meteorologist in Wichita. He added there could be more snow Saturday night outside of Wichita, along I-70.
