Who has power in Wichita? See latest outage map from Evergy

Are you without power today? You’re not alone. Almost 2,000 Evergy customers in Wichita are finding themselves without power due to the winter storm that blew in overnight.

As of 1:35 p.m., there are 18 outages in Wichita, affecting around 1,785 customers, according to the Evergy outage map. Valley Center, Bel Aire, Andover and Haysville have one outage each.

Sedgwick County combined has 22 outages.

The winter storm has caused subzero temperatures, dangerously cold wind chills, poor road conditions and a snow squall warning. Snow squalls are short bursts of heavy snowfall resulting in reduced visibility and followed by heavy gusts of wind.

People are encouraged to stay home and avoid the roads.
