Weather-related closings, delays and cancellations for Monday, December 16
Wichita and most area public schools are closed Monday following icy weekend weather. Here is a list of known cancellations, closings and delays.

Andover U.S.D. 385 — Closed.
Argonia U.S.D. 359 — Closed.
Augusta U.S.D. 402 — Closed.
Butler Community College — All locations closing at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Catholic Charities — No bus transportation routes for Adult Day Services but services will be open. Call 316-942-2008 with questions. Catholic Charities administrative offices will open at 10 a.m.
Catholic Diocese of Wichita schools — Closed.
Chaparral, U.S.D. 361 — School starting two hours late.
Cheney U.S.D. 268 — Closed.
Circle U.S.D. 375 — Closed.
Clearwater U.S.D. 264 — Closed.
Cowley College — 10 a.m. start time, all locations.
Derby U.S.D. 260 — Closed.
Emporia State University — Closed.
Eureka U.S.D. 389 — Closed.
Friends University — Wichita campus opens at 10 a.m. Employees should report to work by 10 a.m. The Kansas City campus is closed.
Goddard U.S.D. 265 — Closed.
Haysville U.S.D. 261 — Closed.
Kansas Humane Society — Closed.
KU School of Medicine, Wichita — Opening at 9 a.m.
Maize U.S.D. 266 — Schools closed. Extracurricular activities scheduled Monday evening canceled including concerts and sports games. Coaches can have optional practices that will end by dark.
Meals on Wheels, Wichita — No deliveries. Patrons should use their emergency meals today. Deliveries expected to resume Tuesday. Call 316-267-0122 with questions or check Facebook at www.facebook.com/SeniorServicesICT
Moundridge Public Library — Open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Mulvane U.S.D. 263 — Closed.
Newman University — Campus opens at 10 a.m.
Operation Holiday — Volunteers needed to help with distribution. Several volunteers have canceled due to weather. Distribution runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday. Children 6 and older welcome with adult supervision. Volunteers should plan to stay at least one hours and meet at the Operation Holiday warehouse at Towne West Square just north of Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Renwick U.S.D. 267 — Closed.
Rose Hill, U.S.D. 394 — Closed.
Sedgwick County Zoo — Closed to visitors. Animal care staff and essential personnel will still report to work to ensure animal welfare.
Sedgwick U.S.D. 439 — School closed. District will determine whether practices will take place by 1 p.m.
TOP Early Learning Centers — Closed.
Trinity Academy, Wichita — School closed. No sports or fine arts practices. The middle school concert is canceled and will not be rescheduled. High school finals postponed to later in the week.
Valley Center U.S.D. 262 — Closed. Monday’s high school band and choir Christmas concert is cancelled.
Victory in the Valley — Office and hospitality center closed.
Wichita Collegiate School — Closed.
Wichita State University — 10 a.m. start time. Employees with travel concerns should contact their supervisors.
Wichita U.S.D. 259 — Schools closed due to anticipated road conditions, cold and transportation delays. All non-attendance centers open.
WSU Tech — Open at 10 a.m. For events at the college, contact the event organizer. Employees with travel concerns should contact their supervisors. High school students who had school canceled will have their absence from WSU Tech excused. Contact the class instructor.
The Emergency Accident Reporting Plan remains in effect for the City of Wichita. If you’re in a non-injury crash and there are no alcohol or drugs involved, you can collect the other driver’s information and fill out an accident report later at any QuikTrip or Wichita Police Department substation.
