Bourbon County man dies in ATV crash
A 25-year-old Bronson man died Saturday morning in an all-terrain vehicle crash near Fort Scott in southeast Kansas, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol crash log.
Three ATVs were traveling east on Maple Road about four miles west of Fort Scott around 10:30 a.m. when the second ATV “for an unknown reason” rear-ended the first, according to the log. The Honda ATV flipped, according to the log.
Billy Gale Minor, who was driving the ATV, was taken to a Joplin, Mo., hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 2:30 p.m.
The two other drivers were not injured.
