A 52-year-old Kansas man died Sunday in a rollover crash that threw him out of his truck, which landed on top of him.

Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs identified the victim as Sean Brookstore of Elkhart, Kansas.

The crash was reported at 7:53 a.m. in rural Morton County. Brookstore was eastbound on Morton County Road F in a 2001 Dodge Ram, the KHP said.

For unknown reasons, the Ram drove partially into a ditch, causing Brookstore to over-correct, enter a side skid and roll over an unknown amount of times. Brookstore was thrown out and the truck crashed on top of him, according to the report.

Brookstore died at the scene of the crash.
