A 65-year-old Kansas trucker died after being run over by another trucker who he was trying to help navigate through a snow-filled parking lot.

Rudolph Martinez of Dodge City died when a 44-year-old Bonne Terre, Missouri, man, backed over him around 1:01 p.m. Monday in Ellsworth County, a Kansas Highway Patrol trooper wrote in a crash report.

The Missouri man was driving a 2018 Freightliner and pulling a trailer.

Martinez was a truck driver who liked Harley Davidson motorcycles, according to his Facebook.

A friend wrote on Facebook that he died “while helping another trucker” and to “Rest in Paradise my brother We got (your) loads from here Ride high in the sky.”
