Two Kansas men die in wrong-way highway crash, KHP says

Two men died Sunday in a wrong-way crash in northeast Kansas.

The crash was reported at 5:13 a.m. along Kansas Highway 4 in Jefferson County, Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs show.

Dylan Harvey, 28, of Topeka, was heading north in the southbound lanes of K-4 in a 2002 Chevy Silverado. At the same time, Gavin Royer, 33, of Valley Falls, was heading south on K-4 in a 2006 Jeep Wrangler. Harvey’s vehicle struck Royer’s head on, according to the KHP.

Both men died at the scene, the report said.
