A 49-year-old Manhattan, Kansas man died after a rollover crash Saturday in Riley County.

Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs identified the man as Monte Busch.

The crash was reported at 8:45 p.m. along U.S. Highway 24, about two miles west of Manhattan. Busch was westbound on U.S. 24 in a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee when he failed to negotiate a curve and entered a ditch, the KHP said.

The Jeep struck a Kansas Department of Transportation sign, entered the westbound lanes and hit a another sign in the median, then rolled and came to rest on its top, according to the report.

Busch died at the scene of the crash from his injuries. He was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
