Kansas teen, 16, killed when ATV crashes into ditch Saturday, officials say
A Kansas teenager was killed in an ATV crash Saturday in Marion County, according to Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs.
The teen was identified as 16-year-old Seth Mader of Hillsboro.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. on Saturday on 170th Street, one mile west of US-77 and about two miles southeast of Marion. Mader was heading west on 170th Street on a Yamaha ATV when he failed to navigate a curve on the road, the logs said.
The ATV left the road and crashed in a ditch.
