Kansas woman killed in rollover wreck in Phillips County, crash logs say

A Kansas woman died in a rollover crash that happened around 7:40 a.m. on Thursday in Phillips County, Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs show.

Records show Hollie Kendall, 49, of Logan, was driving on Phillips County road about 3 miles south of U.S. Highway 36 in a 2004 Ford Escape.

The report says Kendall was moving to the right shoulder of the road for an oncoming pickup heading south. Instead, the Escape encountered gravel on the road, skidded to the right and left and then overturned.

Kendall was thrown out from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
