Highway Patrol to watch for speeders in Wichita area Saturday

The Kansas Highway Patrol has more than a dozen special traffic enforcement projects planned over the next week, and several are in the Wichita metropolitan area.

Troopers will be watching for speeders and occupant protection on K-96 and K-254 in Butler County on Saturday morning, according to a post on the agency’s Facebook page.

Also on Saturday morning, troopers will be monitoring speed on I-135 at 29th Street North.

Come Monday morning, troopers will be in Reno County watching for speeders on K-61.

Next week, troopers will be at Mile Marker 8 on I-135 monitoring traffic for speeders.
