Kansans love the lottery.

Last fiscal year — July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 — people spent more than $272 million dollars on lotto tickets in the Sunflower State. Prizes totaled nearly $150 million, according to Kansas Lottery spokeswoman Sally Lunsford.

Here’s a look at how much each county spent and won across all Kansas lottery games between those dates. One interactive map shows totals by county. The other shows a per person breakdown by county.

Population estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau are for the calendar year 2016.
