U.S. 54 bridge near Kingman to be reduced to one lane starting Monday
Starting Monday, a U.S. 54 bridge near Kingman will be reduced to one lane each way for repair work.
The bridge is a quarter mile west of the K-14 interchange east of Kingman and goes over Smoots Creek. Work is scheduled to be completed by January 2015, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.
The $1.14 million project will include surface patching followed by a concrete overlay, KDOT said.
During construction, traffic will be limited to a 12-foot width in the work zone.
