Bob and Elizabeth Dole to visit 11 cities in Kansas this week
Former Sen. Bob Dole plans to visit more cities and counties in Kansas this week. He’s making a seventh trip to his home state this year.
All visits are open to the public, Dole’s Washington office said in a statement.
“Elizabeth (former North Carolina Sen. Elizabeth Dole, his wife) will join me, and we both plan to enjoy seeing many supporters and friends,” Dole said in the statement.

Thursday:
Independence – Memorial Hall and Civic Center, Veterans Room (410 N. Penn Ave.), 6 to 7 p.m.
Friday:
Howard – Howard Senior Center (148 N. Wabash Ave.), 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Sedan – Golf Course Community Building (1965 Kansas Road), 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Winfield – Millington Place Eatery (815 Millington St.), 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
Wellington – Raymond Frye Complex (320 N. Jefferson Ave.), 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Saturday:
Kingman – Kingman High School gym (260 W. Kansas Ave.), 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Pratt – Vernon Filley Art Museum (421 S. Jackson St.), 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
