Although the 2016 presidential election is more than a year away, one Wichita-based company is already creating merchandise for the politically minded.

Stamp Yo Face, which specializes in custom stamps, is selling three candidate stamps: Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. It also sells a stamp of President Obama.

Which candidate is selling the most so far?

Bernie Sanders.

“He’s got such a following and excitement to what he’s doing. People are actively looking online to promote him,” said Stamp Yo Face co-owner Kevin Wildt.

Stamp Yo Face recently returned from the Crafty Bastards arts and crafts fair in Washington, D.C., where Wildt said the candidate stamps were a hit.

He’s not sure how long the shelf life will be on some of the stamps with the party nominations coming up.

“Hopefully Bernie can stick around,” he said.

The stamps aren’t just for supporters of candidates. Some customers have talked about using the Obama stamp to tease co-workers who don’t like the president by stamping his face on everything in the office.

“We called it ‘O-bombing,’ ” Wildt said.

With so many candidates for the Republican nomination – and none who are standing out as frontrunners so far – they decided to go with Trump.

“He’s stamp-worthy, but we certainly don’t hope he makes office,” said Wildt, who described Trump as comical.

They also considered a Jeb Bush stamp.

“But his polls are awful.”

Once the GOP picks its nominee, they’ll consider adding another stamp, Wildt said.

What can you stamp your favorite candidate’s face on?

Paper works best, Wildt said. He personally likes to stamp faces on business cards.

To claim a candidate stamp of your own, visit www.stampyoface.com. One-inch stamps of the candidates are $8.50 and two-inch versions go for $12.50.
