What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?

I believe the budget is my top priority. I believe it is important to make sure the funds are spent where the majority of the tax payers want them spent.

What would your top 3 policy priorities be?

1) Improve our retention of good teachers. Many times we have lost good people because our pay is not competitive.

2) Ensure life-preparedness for our students’ future success. Not just preparedness for college, but also in technical school and work readiness.

3) Make sure our schools are a safe place for our students. Many times school is the only place a student feels safe, and continuing to ensure a safe environment is a priority.
