Three business groups endorse Brownback

Gov. Sam Brownback nabbed endorsements from a trio of Wichita business groups on Friday.

The Wichita Independent Business Association, the Wichita Metro Chamber of Commerce PAC and the Wichita Area Builders Association all endorsed the governor at an event at JR Custom Metals.

Ray Frederick, a WIBA board member, said that the governor’s income tax cuts appealed to the business leaders.

“There are governors who will give us lip service, but this governor has stood tall and delivered on his word,” said Frederick, who owns Frederick Plumbing & Heating Inc. in Wichita.
