A python with a wicked sense of humor sneaked into someone’s bathroom in Australia and looped itself around their toilet paper — as if no one would notice.

It happened in the Queensland town of Doonan, and the homeowner discovered the snake in an awkward moment.

“This one was scary for the home owner ... as they’d just showered and not noticed the snake there until afterwards,” snake catcher Luke Huntley wrote in an Oct. 4 Facebook post.

“I thought it was a pretty funny spot for a snake to have a snooze. It’s very warm at the moment and the snakes are finding places to stay cool.”

Details of how the startled homeowner reacted were not released. A photo shared by Snake Catcher Noosa 24/7 shows the carpet python was tightly looped around the toilet tissue, with its head strategically resting on top.

Carpet pythons are native to Australia and nonvenomous, but they do bite when annoyed, experts say. They average about 6 feet in length but can reach an intimidating 13 feet, the Queensland Department of Environment and Science reports.

It’s suspected the python got into the home’s bathroom via a hole in the floor, Snake Catcher Noosa wrote.

Hundreds of people have reacted to the Facebook post, most of them offering jokes.

“Don’t squeeze the Charmin!” Yolanda Pacheco wrote.

“Well that would make you (poop) yourself,” Mark Brittliff posted.

“Imagine going to the toilet late at night without the light,” Leone Walker said.
