Pup who wants to cuddle was left on Texas corner ‘defeated and alone.’ He needs a home
A sweet dog with soulful eyes and a big heart in Texas is in need of a home after his past appears to be riddled with dismal affairs.
Kyler, a 6-pound chihuahua-mix, was all alone when the South Plains SPCA in Lubbock found him, and not in the best place emotionally.
“Well, Kyler was abandoned, he was sitting on a street corner, just defeated and alone. We are unsure about how long he was there and he was scared and unsure of if he would be hurt,” the shelter said in an Oct. 30 Facebook post.
Regardless of what happened in his past, Kyler lit up once he was safe with humans around.
“Even so, it has not deterred him from being one of the most lovable dogs we have ever fostered. He is extremely sweet and loves to be cuddled. Kyler likes to be cuddled or praised often as a reassurance that he will not have to endure what he did prior to being with SPSPCA,” the shelter said.
“It makes him happy even though he has had a rough life, Kyler is non-aggressive and very laid back.”
Kyler’s likes include treats, squeaker toys and most importantly — love.
“He is kennel trained and also loves to just chill in his ’room’ from time to time. He might need a couple of days to get accustomed to his surroundings, but he is smart and will figure things out,” the shelter said.
