‘Ray of sunshine’ or devilish? ‘Feisty’ cat at Kansas shelter is both and needs a home
A cat with a yin and yang personality is being highlighted by a shelter in Kansas thanks to his sparkling — and fiery — attitude.
From afar, Leo appears to be the model of sophistication and sweetness, with his Duke of Earl-like looks, dashing ginger mustache and big ol’ Emma Stone eyes.
But don’t be fooled.
“Looking for a lap cat? Keep looking. Need a cuddle bug? Not me. Want a sweet little ray of sunshine? Think again,” the Prairie Paws Animal Shelter in Ottawa said in a Aug. 13 Facebook post. “Meet Leo.”
Sure, Leo looks all cuddly, but the fact of the matter is, he acts like Goose from “Captain Marvel,” which probably means he’s a Flerken (internal pocket dimension not included).
“He’s sweet but he’s spicy. He’s calm then he’s feisty. Our man Leo isn’t sure exactly what he’s feeling usually,” the post continues. “One second he’s nice and the next he’s not. He can be (a) ray of sunshine … and the thunderstorm. He needs someone who understands his mood swings and loves him anyways.”
And, of course, he’ll lure an unsuspecting human in with his charming ways and no-nonsense purrs.
“Leo is a looker…handsome as can be,” the post says. “He’s got the personality too…sometimes multiple. One second he’s purring and the next he’s angry. He’ll seek attention from you but growl once you go to pet him. He’s sure to keep you on your toes. Life will never be dull with Leo.”
