KFC debuts carnival-inspired fries at some restaurants. Here’s where to try them
KFC is offering fans an updated take on a classic fast-food staple, but only for a limited time..
The new Funnel Cake Fries rolled out at select KFC restaurants across the Midwest starting Tuesday, Nov. 29, the national chicken chain announced in a news release.
“Reminiscent of state fairs,” the new treat is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and dusted with powdered sugar, according to a product description.
The offering comes in three sizes, with the smallest starting at $1.99 plus tax.
After a successful limited test run in Kansas City this fall, KFC expanded the Funnel Cake Fries to over 70 restaurants in the Midwest including locations in St. Louis, Missouri; Omaha, Nebraska; eastern Kansas, parts of Arkansas and southeast Oklahoma, the release said.
The fries could come to more markets in 2023, according to the fast food chain.
